What it does for you
Pro settings, handled for you
Flowshot sets your iPhone's cameras shot by shot, for sharp photos and steady video of fast action.
Watch the shot, not the controls
Zoom from widest to closest in one smooth thumb swipe, even while recording, so you can compose the best possible shot.
Get the winning shot
In burst mode, hold the shutter for a run of photos, or double-tap for a full set, while you keep zooming and framing.
Photos and videos saved for you
Full quality, straight into your photo library, with nothing to sort or move between apps.
How to use it
Zoom
Drag the wheel to zoom. Double-tap it to zoom all the way out.
Burst
In burst mode, tap for one photo, hold to shoot until you let go, or double-tap for a full set. Tap again to stop early. Choose the burst size in Settings.
Left-handed
Hold your iPhone with the volume buttons up and the controls flip for left-handed shooting.
Framing guide
Focus and exposure follow the center of the frame. To mark it, turn on the framing guide in Settings.
Full-screen viewfinder
The viewfinder fills the screen, so the sides of your photo or video are out of view. To see the whole frame as you shoot, turn off the full-screen viewfinder in Settings.
Hardware buttons
The volume buttons and Camera Control take photos and start or stop video. In burst mode, hold volume down or Camera Control to keep shooting, or press volume up for a full set. Slide your finger on Camera Control to change lens. You can also open Flowshot from the Lock Screen or Control Center.
Open Flowshot fast
- Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen, then tap a control and pick Flowshot.
- Control Center: swipe down from the top-right corner, touch and hold, tap Add a Control and pick Flowshot.
- Camera Control: in the Settings app, go to Camera › Camera Control and choose Flowshot.
- Action button: in the Settings app, go to Action Button, choose Controls and pick Flowshot.
Your shots, in Photos
Flowshot doesn't store or manage your shots. Tap Camera Roll to open the Photos app, where you can organize, edit, share and delete your photos and videos.
Remove the watermark
In Flowshot, tap the gear, then Remove the watermark. It's one purchase, with no subscription. It's shared with your family, works on all your iPhones and iPads, and includes every future update.
Older shots
The watermark is added the moment you take a shot, so photos and videos from before the purchase still carry one.
New device, or reinstalled?
In Flowshot, tap the gear, then Restore purchase. If Flowshot says there's no purchase to restore, check that you're signed in with the Apple Account you made the purchase with.
Waiting for approval
If Ask to Buy is on for your account, you'll see “Waiting for approval,” and Flowshot unlocks as soon as it's approved.
Fixing problems
Camera, Photos or microphone access is off
Open the Settings app, find Flowshot in the list of apps, and turn on Camera, Photos or Microphone. For Photos, Flowshot only needs permission to add photos. Without the microphone, videos record without sound.
“Camera unavailable”
Another app may be using the camera. Close it, or try again in a moment.
The camera stops on iPad
iPadOS pauses the camera while an app shares the screen. Make Flowshot full screen to keep shooting.
A recording stopped early
Flowshot stops recording if your iPhone gets too warm or storage runs low, and saves what you've shot so far. Let your iPhone cool down, free up some space, or record at 1080p, which uses less.
