Privacy Policy
The short answer: Flowshot has no accounts and no servers, and collects nothing. Your photos and videos go straight into your own photo library, and nowhere else.
What Flowshot collects
Nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising identifiers. Flowshot's privacy details on the App Store say the same: no data is collected.
Camera and microphone
Flowshot uses the camera to take photos and videos, and the microphone to record sound with your videos. What the camera and microphone capture is processed on your device and saved only to your photo library.
Your photo library
Flowshot asks only for permission to add to your photo library. It can't read, browse or change anything already in it. Flowshot doesn't keep its own copies of your shots, and doesn't upload, sync or back them up. Once a shot is in Photos, it's handled by Apple's Photos app and your own iCloud settings.
Location
Off by default. If you turn on Save location with shots in Flowshot's settings, Flowshot asks for location access while you're using it, and adds the location to the photos and videos you take, the same way the Camera app does. That location stays in the files in your library and isn't sent anywhere by Flowshot. Turn the setting off at any time.
Settings
Your choices, like burst size, video format and last zoom, are stored on your device only.
Purchases
Removing the watermark is an in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Flowshot only learns whether the purchase is active; we never see your name, Apple Account or payment details.
Network access
Flowshot doesn't send anything over the internet itself. The only connections are made by iOS on your behalf: the App Store for purchases and restoring them, and opening links like this page or “Rate Flowshot” when you tap them.
Children
Flowshot collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll post the updated version here with a new date. Since Flowshot collects nothing, we don't expect its substance to change much.
